Nature WalksAlthough the Wilderness trails are not available in the spring, many enjoyable hours of walk are available in the lake basin. While walking around the lake the streams which feed the lake will run full. Deer come to the lake edge at twilight. Rancheria Falls put on a spectacular display. Many beautiful birds come back to the area in spring. Those staying at the Condominiums enjoy sitting on their decks watching the birds come to bird feeders or seeds placed on the deck railing. Before the snow is all melted wild flowers start to put on their annual show. The first to blossom is the red spike of the Snow flower. |
